Thanksgiving Cup and Champions Cup in the new kit

Crush F.C. from Burlington, Ontario, wore the new neon yellow kit at two October tournaments: the Thanksgiving Cup on October 12, 2026, and the Game Awareness Champions Cup on October 17. Here is the story of both events, from night games under the lights to medals, trophy lifts and a Champions banner.

A Crush team raises a gold trophy, the CRUSH name on every shirt

October brought two tournaments in five days, and two big outings for the new Crush kit. The neon yellow jersey with the black CRUSH script and crest is hard to miss on any field, and our players wore it with pride.

What was the Thanksgiving Cup like?

The Thanksgiving Cup was played on the holiday Monday, October 12. The photos show games under the evening lights, with players pressing together, defending set pieces at dusk and jogging back to position with big smiles.

In the indoor dome, a Crush team posed with medals and a gold trophy. Our Thanksgiving Cup album has every moment, shared with parent media consent.

Trophy time

There is nothing quite like a trophy lift through a cloud of stage smoke. The pictures show a gold trophy raised high, the CRUSH name on every shirt and a coach looking on with pride. Those are the moments that make the early mornings and cold evenings worth it.

Pass, support and lift each other up, on the field and off it.

What happened at the Champions Cup?

Five days later, on Saturday, October 17, Crush teams played the Game Awareness Champions Cup. Games ran on indoor turf and outdoors in bright autumn sunshine, with families lining the sideline to cheer and high five players after each game.

The Champions Cup photos include a Crush team with medals and a trophy behind a Champions banner, and a celebration as sparklers lit up the dome. Players even got to talk to the tournament camera crew. You can see it all in the Champions Cup album.

What comes next?

Both tournaments were a great start to our first winter season. Our teams now play through to April in the Game Awareness Youth Super League and the Dynasty Premier Soccer League, with 18 guaranteed games each.
