Questions before you apply
What checks do I need to coach or volunteer at Crush F.C.?
Every coach and volunteer at Crush F.C. completes a police record check or vulnerable sector check, Respect in Sport training and current first aid and CPR, and agrees to the club's Code of Conduct. Each check is completed before your first session with players and renewed before it expires, so families can trust every adult at training.
What is a vulnerable sector check?
A vulnerable sector check is a police record check for people in positions of trust with children or vulnerable people. In Ontario you request it through the police service where you live, usually online. It can take a few weeks to come back, so we suggest you start the request as soon as we confirm your role with Crush F.C.
What is Respect in Sport training?
Respect in Sport is an online training program used across Canadian sport. It helps coaches and other adults recognise and prevent bullying, abuse, harassment and discrimination, and it explains how to respond if a child needs help. You complete it at your own pace, and Crush F.C. asks every coach and volunteer to finish it before working with players.
Where and when would I help?
Crush F.C. teams train in Burlington and Stoney Creek, Ontario, and play in indoor competitions from October 2026 to April 2027. Training runs during the week, with games across the season. When we talk with you, we will match your role to the teams, locations and times that suit you best.
