Media Consent Policy
This policy explains how Crush F.C. in Burlington, Ontario, asks for and respects consent before publishing photos and videos of players. Media consent is separate from the registration agreement. You control it for each child in the family portal, and you can withdraw it at any time, with affected photos removed within 1 hour.
How consent works
When you register, you can choose to give media consent for each child. The box is unticked by default. You can change your choice at any time in the family portal, and every change is recorded with the date and the guardian who made it.
What we publish
With consent, photos and videos from Crush training, games and events may appear on our website, social media and printed materials. We never publish a player's name with an image, and every image passes a consent check before it is published.
Withdrawing consent
When you withdraw consent, every published image of your child is hidden from the website within 1 hour, and our media editor is told so the images can be removed from other channels.
Team photos
We publish a team photo only when every player in it has media consent.
Removal requests
Anyone can ask us to remove a photo with the Request a photo removal link in every gallery. The photo is hidden while we review the request, and we reply within 2 business days.
