Here are answers to the questions families ask Crush F.C. most often, from registration and fees to schedules, uniforms, playing time, safety and photos. Crush F.C. is a youth soccer club in Burlington, Ontario, for players born 2015 to 2018. If your question is missing, contact us and we will reply within 2 business days.
Registration
Who can join Crush F.C.?
Crush F.C. welcomes players born 2015 to 2018 for the 2026/27 season. Players born 2015 and 2016 play 9v9, and players born 2017 and 2018 play 7v7. If your child was born in another year, join the waitlist on the Programs page and we will contact you as new teams open.
How do I register my child?
Start with the Register interest form, which takes about 3 minutes. We will contact you within 2 business days to confirm the right program and team. You then sign the registration agreement, pay the deposit, and receive your family portal invitation, uniform ordering link and season schedule.
Can my child play for Crush and another club?
Yes. Players registered with another club can join our Super League programs through dual registration. They train and play with Crush while keeping their other team. Contact us to confirm the schedule works for your family, and our coaches will gladly help you plan the week.
Is Crush F.C. part of Ontario Soccer?
Crush F.C. is an independent club and operates outside the Ontario Soccer and Canada Soccer system. Our teams play in independent indoor competitions, and the club arranges its own insurance, coach screening and Code of Conduct. Read more on our Independent and Proud page.
How do I contact the club?
Email admin@crushfc.ca or use the contact form, and we will reply within 2 business days. Choose a topic on the form so your message reaches the right person. For a safety concern about a child, use the safety form on the Safeguarding page.
What age groups does Crush F.C. offer?
Crush F.C. offers teams for players born 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 in the 2026/27 season. We have three teams born in 2015, two born in 2016, two born in 2017 and one born in 2018. Teams born 2015 and 2016 play 9v9, and teams born 2017 and 2018 play 7v7.
Can my child join partway through the season?
Yes, when a team has space. Register your interest and we will tell you which teams have room. Any instalments that were due before you sign are combined into one payment due 7 days after signing, and the rest follow your program's usual schedule.
Does my child need soccer experience to join?
No experience is needed for our Entry and Standard programs. Coaches place every player by birth year first, then by ability and development needs, so beginners and experienced players both find the right level. Tell us about your child's experience when you register and we will suggest a program.
What language can I use to contact the club?
You can write to us in English, Spanish, Portuguese or Italian. Choose your preferred language when you register, and we will send family emails in that language where we can. Our Families Hub, fees, FAQ, Code of Conduct summary, safeguarding page and registration form are also available in those languages.
Fees and payments
How much does a season cost?
Season fees for 2026/27 range from $1,300 for the Entry Program 7v7 to $2,850 for the Full Program 9v9. Every program includes 18 guaranteed games and coached training sessions from October to April. The uniform is purchased separately. See Fees and Payment Plans for every program and payment date.
When are payments due?
A deposit is due when you sign the agreement. The rest of the fee is paid in monthly instalments on the 15th, on the dates listed for your program. Your family portal always shows your next payment date, the amount and your remaining balance.
How can I pay?
You can pay by Interac using your family code as the reference, or online by credit card or bank debit through the family portal. You can also save a card or bank account and turn on automatic payments, so each instalment is paid on its due date.
What happens if a payment is late?
If a payment is more than 5 days late, a $25 late charge is added. The club may also pause training and games until the account is up to date. If you are having trouble paying, please contact us early so we can talk about options.
Is there a sibling discount?
Please ask us about pricing for brothers and sisters when you register. Add each child on the same registration form, and our team will confirm the season fee for each child when we contact you within 2 business days. Season fees for 2026/27 range from $1,300 to $2,850, depending on the program.
What is included in the season fee?
The season fee includes coached training sessions every week, 18 guaranteed games from October to April and entry into the club's indoor competitions. The uniform is purchased separately through the team store. Each program page lists exactly how many training sessions a week it includes, along with its deposit and payment dates.
What is a family code?
Your family code is a permanent reference that starts with CFC followed by 4 digits, for example CFC4821. Use it as the message on every Interac payment so we can match your payment to your family quickly. You will find your family code in the family portal and on every payment reminder.
Can I pay the full season fee at once?
Yes. You can pay the full balance at any time, by Interac or online through the family portal. Paying in full means you skip the monthly instalments. The deposit is still due when you sign the agreement, and your portal shows the remaining balance after each payment.
How do automatic payments work?
Automatic payments charge your saved card or bank account for each instalment on its due date. You turn them on in the family portal, and you receive an email 3 days before every charge with the amount and the date. You can turn automatic payments off or change your payment method at any time.
Will I get a receipt?
Yes. You receive a PDF receipt by email for every payment, whether you pay by Interac, card or bank debit. Every receipt is also saved in the family portal, where you can download a full season statement at any time for your records and for your own budgeting.
Is financial assistance available?
If cost is a concern for your family, please contact us in confidence before you register. We will talk through the options for your child this season, including the monthly instalment plan that spreads each program's fee across the season. Every conversation about money stays private between your family and the club.
Schedules and weather
Where do teams train?
Teams train at facilities in Burlington and Stoney Creek. Your child's training days, times and location appear on their team page and in the family portal. Each location page lists the address, parking and what to bring, and Field Status shows any same day changes.
When does the season run?
The 2026/27 winter season runs from October 2026 to April 2027. Teams train during the week and play games in indoor competitions, with 18 games guaranteed for every program. Key dates for the season appear on the Families Hub, and the family portal shows your child's full schedule.
What happens if weather closes training?
When weather or field conditions close a location, the club updates the Field Status page, posts a notice in the family portal and emails every affected family. Check Field Status before you leave home on any day with poor weather.
How many games does my child play?
Every program includes 18 guaranteed games during the 2026/27 winter season from October to April. Games are played in indoor competitions, and your child's full game schedule appears in the family portal and on their team page, with the date, kickoff time and venue for each game.
How often do teams train?
Training runs 1, 2 or 3 times a week, depending on your child's program. Each program page lists its sessions a week, from 1 session in the Entry Program to 3 sessions in the Full Program 9v9. Your child's training days, times and location appear on the team page and in the family portal.
How do I tell the coach my child will miss a session?
Reply Not attending to the session in the family portal. Coaches see every reply, so they can plan the session and the game day lineup. Please reply as early as you can, and message the coach through the portal if your child will miss more than one week.
Can I add the team schedule to my calendar?
Yes. Every team page has a button to subscribe to that team's calendar, and the family portal offers a private calendar feed for your child's team. Subscribe once and every training session, game and change appears in Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook automatically.
Where can I find game results?
Every result appears on the Fixtures and Results page within a day of the game, with match reports on the news page. You can filter results by team or month. Standings for each competition are on the Standings page, with a link to the competition that publishes them.
Uniforms
Is the uniform included?
The uniform is purchased separately through the Crush team store. The 2026/27 jersey is neon yellow with your child's number, and the kit includes black shorts. You receive the store link after signing, and the club holds a sizing session before ordering.
What should my child bring to training?
Your child should bring indoor soccer shoes, shin pads, a full water bottle and a warm layer for after training. Label everything with your child's name. Each location page lists anything else that facility needs, and Field Status shows any same day changes before you leave home.
Can my child choose a jersey number?
Jersey numbers are chosen when you order through the team store, and the number is included in the $48 jersey price. Coaches confirm numbers within each team, so two teammates never share a number. Contact us if you have a question about your child's number before you order.
What if the uniform does not fit?
Contact the club as soon as the kit arrives if anything does not fit. We help families with exchanges through the team store supplier wherever we can. Coming to the sizing session before ordering is the best way to choose the right size for your child the first time.
Playing time and placement
How are players placed on teams?
Coaches place players by birth year first, then by ability and development needs, using training sessions and evaluations. Placement can change during the season as players grow. If you have a question about your child's placement, speak with the coach or contact the club.
How much playing time will my child get?
Every player gets meaningful playing time across the season. Coaches share minutes fairly over the 18 guaranteed games, while also rewarding effort and attendance at training. The Crush Way page explains how our coaches develop players. If you have a question about your child's minutes, speak with the coach calmly and privately after a session.
Can my child move to another team?
Team moves are possible when they suit your child's development and a team has space. Coaches review placement during the season and talk with families before any change. If you would like to discuss a move, speak with your child's coach first or contact the club.
How do coaches share feedback on my child's progress?
Coaches share feedback in short conversations after training and games, and you are always welcome to ask your child's coach for a quick update. If you would like a longer conversation, ask the coach to set a time away from the field. The Crush Way page explains how our coaches support each player's development.
Safety and concussion
How does Crush keep players safe?
Our policy requires every coach and volunteer to be screened and trained, and the club has a named safeguarding lead who any family can contact in confidence. We follow the Rule of Two, a Code of Conduct for players, parents and coaches, and Ontario's Rowan's Law on concussion.
What happens if my child has a head injury?
Any player with a suspected concussion is removed from play right away, following Ontario's Rowan's Law. Your child returns to training and games only after a medical doctor or nurse practitioner clears them. Every family reviews concussion awareness information each season.
Who is the safeguarding lead?
Crush F.C. has a named safeguarding lead who looks after every concern about a child's safety or wellbeing. You can reach them in confidence at any time through the safety form on the Safeguarding page, which goes straight to them. You can also email admin@crushfc.ca and ask for the safeguarding lead.
What should I do if my child is hurt at training?
Tell the coach right away. Our policy requires every coach to hold first aid training, and the coach will look after your child and contact you. Any player with a suspected concussion is removed from play and returns only after medical clearance. For an emergency, call 911.
Photos and privacy
Will photos of my child appear online?
Photos of your child appear on the club's website or social media only if you give media consent, and we never publish a player's name with a photo. You can change your consent at any time in the family portal, and we remove affected photos within 1 hour.
Can I ask the club to remove a photo?
Yes. Every photo gallery has a Request a photo removal link. The photo is hidden while we review your request, and we reply within 2 business days. You can also withdraw media consent for your child in the family portal, and affected photos are removed from the website within 1 hour.
Does the club publish player names?
Crush F.C. never publishes a player's name, date of birth or school on its public website or with any photo. Player of the Match awards and individual recognition appear only inside the private family portal, where only your family and your child's coaches can see them.
