What should we expect when we arrive?

Training takes place indoors on turf through the winter season. Head inside together, find your child's coach and team area, and let the coach know your child has arrived.

Follow the facility signs for where families can wait or watch, and keep the playing surface clear for the session on the field before yours.

What should my child bring for indoor turf?

Pack the essentials the night before so the drop off is calm. Most indoor facilities ask for clean, dry shoes on the turf.

  • Turf shoes or flat indoor soccer shoes, with no metal studs
  • Shin pads and soccer socks
  • A full water bottle with your child's name on it
  • Training top or team kit, plus a warm layer for the trip home
  • A hair tie for long hair, and no jewellery or watches on the field
  • A small healthy snack for after the session

When should we arrive?

Arrive about 10 minutes before the session starts. That gives your child time to change shoes, fill a water bottle and join the warm up on time. For games, your coach confirms the meeting time.

Where do we park and drop off?

Park in marked spaces, and never stop in a fire route, a drop off lane or in front of an entrance. Drive slowly in the lot, because children are often walking between cars, especially after dark in winter.

Walk younger players to the door and hand them over to the coach. Carpooling with teammates eases busy lots and saves families time.

How are players supervised?

Coaches supervise players from the start of the session to the end. Every Crush coach is screened and follows the Rule of Two, so two screened adults are present or within sight whenever coaches are with players.

Before and after the session your child is in your care, so please collect them on time. Let the coach know if someone else is picking your child up.
